Hadith 30:233
Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A’raj, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurairah: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led us in prayer, then he turned his face toward us and said: "While a man was driving a cow, he rode it and struck it. It said: 'We were not created for this; we were only created for plowing.' The people said: 'Subhan Allah! A cow speaks?' He said: 'I believe in this, and so do Abu Bakr and Umar,' although they were not present there. "And while a man was among his sheep, a wolf attacked them and took a sheep from them. The man pursued it and caught up with it, and rescued the sheep from it. The wolf said: 'O you, you have rescued it from me! But who will be there for it on the day of the wild beasts, the day when there will be no shepherd for it other than me?'" The people said: 'Subhan Allah! A wolf speaks?' He said: 'I believe in that, and so do Abu Bakr and Umar,' although they were not present there.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
