Musnad Ahmad 30:237

Sufyan narrated to us, from Sumayy, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to seek refuge from these three: the reaching of misery, the gloating of enemies, and the evil of the decree, or the hardship of affliction. Sufyan said: "I added one, but I do not know which one it is."
