Isma'il ibn 'Ulayyah narrated to us, Abu Hayyan narrated to us, from Abu Zur'ah ibn 'Amr ibn Jarir, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood among us one day and mentioned *al-ghulul* (misappropriation of spoils of war), and he magnified it and magnified its affair. Then he said: "Let me not find any one of you coming on the Day of Resurrection with a camel on his neck that has a grunting sound, saying: 'O Messenger of Allah, help me!' And I will say: 'I possess nothing for you; I have already conveyed [the message] to you.' Let me not find any one of you coming on the Day of Resurrection with a sheep on his neck that has a bleating sound, saying: 'O Messenger of Allah, help me!' And I will say: 'I possess nothing for you; I have already conveyed [the message] to you.' Let me not find any one of you coming on the Day of Resurrection with a horse on his neck that has a neighing sound, saying: 'O Messenger of Allah, help me!' And I will say: 'I possess nothing for you; I have already conveyed [the message] to you.' Let me not find any one of you coming on the Day of Resurrection with a soul on his neck that has a crying sound, saying: 'O Messenger of Allah, help me!' And I will say: 'I possess nothing for you; I have already conveyed [the message] to you.' Let me not find any one of you coming on the Day of Resurrection with pieces of cloth on his neck that are flapping, saying: 'O Messenger of Allah, help me!' And I will say: 'I possess nothing for you; I have already conveyed [the message] to you.' Let me not find any one of you coming on the Day of Resurrection with gold or silver (silent wealth) on his neck, saying: 'O Messenger of Allah, help me!' And I will say: 'I possess nothing for you; I have already conveyed [the message] to you.'"
