Musnad Ahmad 30:238

Sufyan narrated to us, from ‘Asim ibn ‘Ubayd Allah ibn ‘Asim ibn ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab, from the freed slave of Ibn Abi Ruhm, that he heard it from Abu Hurayrah, attributing it to the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace): Abu Hurayrah encountered a woman wearing perfume and said, "Where are you heading, O servant of the Compeller (al-Jabbar)?" She replied, "To the mosque." He said, "And for it did you apply perfume?" She said, "Yes." Abu Hurayrah said: Indeed, he [the Prophet] said: "Any woman who leaves her house wearing perfume, intending for the mosque, Allah the Almighty will not accept a prayer from her until she returns and washes it off, just as she washes from major ritual impurity (janabah)."
