Musnad Ahmad 30:2440

Yahya narrated to us, from Ubaydullah, who said: Sa’id narrated to me, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked: "Who is the most honorable of people?" He said: "The most God-fearing of them." They said: "It is not about this that we are asking you." He said: "Then Yusuf, the Prophet of Allah, the son of the Prophet of Allah, the son of the Prophet of Allah, the son of the Khalil (Friend) of Allah." They said: "It is not about this that we are asking you." He said: "Then are you asking me about the mines of the Arabs? The best of them in the Pre-Islamic period are the best of them in Islam, if they attain understanding [of the religion]."
