Yahya narrated to us, from Malik, who said: Sa’id narrated to me. And Hajjaj—meaning al-A’war—narrated to us, saying: Ibn Abi Dhi’b informed us, from Sa’id—the meaning [is the same]—from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said: "Whoever has an injustice [committed by him] regarding the wealth or honor of his brother, let him come to him and seek his absolution before it is taken—or [before] it is taken—and he has neither a dinar nor a dirham. For if he has good deeds, some of his good deeds will be taken and given to this [person]. And if he has no good deeds, some of the bad deeds of this [person] will be taken and cast upon him."
