Musnad Ahmad 30:249

Sufyan narrated to us, Ibn ‘Ajlan narrated to us, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Leave me as I have left you, for those who were before you were only destroyed by their excessive questioning and their disagreement with their prophets. Whatever I have forbidden you, then abstain from it; and whatever I have commanded you, then perform of it as much as you are able."
