Ibn Numayr narrated to us, he said: Thawr—meaning Ibn Yazid—narrated to us, from Makhul, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "The evil eye is real, and the devil is present with it, as is the envy of the son of Adam."
