Musnad Ahmad 30:2541

Ibn Numayr narrated to us, he said: Hisham narrated to us, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "A man was forgiven for removing a thorny branch from the path of the people."
