Musnad Ahmad 30:2561

Muhammad ibn Ubayd narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Amr narrated to us, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurairah, who said: A woman came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who was afflicted with madness. She said: "O Messenger of Allah, supplicate to Allah that He may heal me." He said: "If you wish, I will supplicate to Allah that He may heal you, and if you wish, you may be patient, and there will be no reckoning upon you." She said: "Rather, I will be patient, and there will be no reckoning upon me."
