Musnad Ahmad 30:2611

Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Uthman ibn Waqid—meaning al-‘Umari—narrated to me, from Kudam ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami, from Abu Kabash, who said: I brought young sheep (jadha’an) to Medina, but they were sluggish in selling for me. I met Abu Hurairah and asked him, and he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: "Excellent—or, how excellent—is the sacrifice of the young sheep (al-jadha’ min al-da’n)." So the people snatched them up.
