Musnad Ahmad 30:2629

Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Sufyan and ‘Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from ‘Asim ibn ‘Ubayd Allah, from Ziyad ibn Thubay, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, entered upon me while I was complaining of an ailment—‘Abd al-Rahman said in his narration: "visiting me"—and he said: "Shall I not teach you?" ‘Abd al-Rahman said: "Shall I not perform *ruqyah* (incantation) upon you with a *ruqyah* that Gabriel, peace be upon him, performed upon me?" I said: "Yes, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you." He said: "In the name of Allah, I perform *ruqyah* upon you, and Allah heals you from every ailment that harms you, and from the evil of those who blow into knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies." And ‘Abd al-Rahman said: "From every ailment within you."
