Musnad Ahmad 30:2698

Hajjaj ibn Muhammad narrated to us, he said: Layth informed us, he said: Sa’id ibn Abi Sa’id narrated to me, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: While we were in the mosque, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, came out to us and said: "Go to the Jews." So we went out with him until we came to the House of Study (Bayt al-Midras). The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, stood and called out to them: "O assembly of Jews, accept Islam and you will be safe." They said: "You have delivered the message, O Abu al-Qasim." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said to them: "That is what I want; accept Islam and you will be safe." They said: "You have delivered the message, O Abu al-Qasim." He said: "That is what I want." Then he said it a third time, and said: "Know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Messenger, and I intend to expel you from this land. So whoever among you finds anything for his property, let him sell it; otherwise, know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Messenger."
