Hajjaj narrated to us, he said: Layth narrated to us, he said: ‘Uqayl narrated to me, from Ibn Shihab, from Abu ‘Ubayd, the freed slave of ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn ‘Awf, that he heard Abu Hurayrah saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "For one of you to bind a bundle of firewood, then carry it upon his back and sell it, is better for him than to ask a man who may give him or refuse him."
