Musnad Ahmad 30:2768

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: I heard al-'Ala' narrating from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that he said: "The sun does not rise on a day, nor does it set, that is better—or greater—than the day of Friday. There is no creature that does not fear the day of Friday, except for these two heavy ones: the jinn and mankind. And at every door there are two angels writing down the first, then the first, like a man who offered a camel, and like a man who offered a cow, and like a man who offered a sheep, and like a man who offered a bird, and like a man who offered an egg. Then, when the Imam sits, the scrolls are folded."
