Musnad Ahmad 30:2782

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Dawud ibn Farahij, he said: I heard Abu Hurairah narrating from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that he said: "Gabriel continued to advise me regarding the neighbor until I thought that he would make him an heir."
