Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Dawud ibn Farahij, he said: I heard Abu Hurairah saying: "We had no food during the time of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, except the two black ones: dates and water."
