Musnad Ahmad 30:2803

I read to Abd al-Rahman: Malik, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A’raj, from Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When the call to prayer is made, the Shaytan turns his back, passing wind so that he does not hear the call. When the call is finished, he comes forward. Then, when the Iqamah (call to commence prayer) is made, the Shaytan turns his back, passing wind so that he does not hear the call. When the Iqamah is finished, he comes forward to whisper between a man and his soul, saying: 'Remember such-and-such, remember such-and-such,' regarding things he was not remembering, until the man remains not knowing how much he has prayed."
