Musnad Ahmad 30:2898

'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Muhammad, who said: I heard Abu Hurayrah saying: I heard Abu al-Qasim, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saying: "Leave me as I have left you, for those who were before you were only destroyed by their excessive questioning and their disagreement with their prophets. So, if I command you to do a matter, then perform it as much as you are able, and if I forbid you from a matter, then avoid it."
