Musnad Ahmad 30:2904

'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Muhammad, who said: I heard Abu Hurayrah saying: I heard Abu al-Qasim (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) saying: "A woman entered the Fire because of a cat—or a female cat—which she tied up. She did not feed it, she did not give it water, and she did not release it to eat from the vermin of the earth."
