Hadith 30:2912
Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, he said: Shu‘bah narrated to us, and Hajjaj said: Shu‘bah informed us, from Sa‘d, he said: I heard Abu Salamah narrating from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that he said: "Aslam, Ghifar, Muzaynah, and whoever was from Juhaynah—Hajjaj said: and whoever was from Muzaynah—are better than Banu Tamim, Banu ‘Amir, and the two allies: Asad and Ghatafan."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، قال: حدثنا شعبة، وحجاج، قال: أخبرنا شعبة، عن سعد، قال: سمعت أبا سلمة، يحدث عن أبي هريرة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال: " أسلم، وغفار، ومزينة، ومن كان من جهينة - قال حجاج: ومن كان من مزينة - خير من بني تميم، وبني عامر، والحليفين أسد، وغطفان "
