By Allah, for one of you to go out in the morning, gather firewood upon his back, sell it, and thereby become self-sufficient and give charity from it, is better for him than to come to a man and ask him, whether he gives him or refuses him. That is because the upper hand is better than the lower hand, and begin with those whom you support.
