Musnad Ahmad 30:3082

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, he said: Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Sulayman, from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that he said: "If I were invited to a *kura‘* (trotter) — or a *dhira‘* (foreleg) — I would accept, and if a *dhira‘* were gifted to me, I would accept it." He said: "And I never saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, criticize food at all; if he desired it, he ate it, and if not, he left it."
