Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, he said: Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Ghaylan ibn Jarir, he said: I heard Ziyad ibn Riyah, he said: I heard Abu Hurayrah, he said: "Whoever separates from the community and opposes the obedience"—and he mentioned its meaning, except that he said: "And he does not fulfill [the covenant] for the one who has its covenant."
