Musnad Ahmad 30:3269

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, he said: Hammam narrated to us, he said: Qatadah narrated to us, from Abu Maymunah, from Abu Hurayrah, that he came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, when I see you, my soul becomes pleasant and my eyes are comforted, so inform me about everything." He said: "Everything was created from water." He said: "Inform me of an action that, if I perform it, I will enter Paradise." He said: "Spread peace, speak kindly, maintain ties of kinship, and stand in prayer at night while the people are sleeping; you will enter Paradise in peace."
