Musnad Ahmad 30:3299

Ibn Numayr narrated to us, al-A‘mash narrated to us, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Leave me as I have left you, for those who were before you were only destroyed by their excessive questioning and their disagreement with their prophets. So, if I command you to do something, then take from it as much as you are able, and if I forbid you from something, then refrain from it."
