Hadith 30:3306
Ibn Numayr narrated to us, al-A’mash narrated to us, and Ya’la said: Al-A’mash informed us, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Let not one of you say: 'My slave' (abdi), for all of you are slaves (of Allah). But let him say: 'My young man' (fatay). And let him not say: 'My lord' (rabbi), for your Lord is Allah. But let him say: 'My master' (sayyidi)."
حدثنا ابن نمير، حدثنا الأعمش، ويعلى، قال: أخبرنا الأعمش، عن أبي صالح، عن أبي هريرة، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا يقولن أحدكم: عبدي، فكلكم عبد، ولكن ليقل فتاي، ولا يقل: ربي، فإن ربكم الله، ولكن ليقل: سيدي "
