Musnad Ahmad 30:3308

Ibn Numayr narrated to us, Hisham bin Sa’d narrated to us, from Zayd bin Aslam, from Dhakwan, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not revile time (ad-dahr), for Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, said: 'I am Time (ad-dahr). The days and the nights are Mine; I renew them and I wear them out, and I bring kings after kings.'"
