Hushaym narrated to us, Abu Abdullah al-Bakri informed us, from Sa’id ibn Abi Sa’id al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Travel is a piece of punishment, because a man is distracted in it from his fasting, his prayer, and his worship. So when one of you has fulfilled his need from his travel, let him hasten the return to his family."
