Musnad Abu Hurairah (RA)

مسند أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه

Hadith 30:3323

Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, al-Mubarak narrated to us, from al-Hasan, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Upon the son of Adam are three knots with a rope when he sleeps at night. If he wakes up during the night and remembers Allah the Exalted and Majestic, one knot is untied. If he performs ablution, one knot is untied. If he stands up, resolves, and prays, all the knots are untied. But if he sleeps and does not remember Allah the Exalted and Majestic, does not perform ablution, and does not pray until he reaches the morning, he wakes up with all the knots upon him."

حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم، حدثنا المبارك، عن الحسن، عن أبي هريرة، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: على ابن آدم ثلاث عقد بجرير إذا بات من الليل، فإن هو تعار من الليل، فذكر الله عز وجل، انحلت عقدة، فإن توضأ، انحلت عقدة، فإن قام فعزم فصلى، انحلت العقد جميعا، وإن هو بات، ولم يذكر الله عز وجل، ولم يتوضأ، ولم يصل حتى يصبح، أصبح وعليه العقد جميعا "
