Ali ibn 'Asim narrated to us, Khalid and Hisham informed us, from Ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not revile time (ad-dahr), for indeed Allah is Time (ad-dahr)."
