Musnad Ahmad 30:3367

Yazid narrated to us, Muhammad informed us, from Musa ibn Yasar, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah is more joyful at the repentance of His servant than one of you is at [finding] his lost item in a desolate land, upon which is his food and his drink." And Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, says: "If My servant approaches Me by a span, I approach him by a cubit; and if he approaches Me by a cubit, I approach him by an arm's length; and if he comes to Me walking, I come to him rushing."
