Hadith 30:341
Aswad ibn ‘Amir narrated to us, Jarir—meaning Ibn Hazim—narrated to us, he said: I heard al-Hasan say: Abu Hurayrah said: My intimate friend (Khalil), may Allah bless him and grant him peace, enjoined three things upon me that I will never abandon: the Witr prayer before I sleep, fasting three days of every month, and performing Ghusl on the day of Jumu’ah.
حدثنا أسود بن عامر، حدثنا جرير يعني ابن حازم، قال: سمعت الحسن، قال: قال أبو هريرة: ثلاث أوصاني بهن خليلي صلى الله عليه وسلم، لا أدعهن أبدا: " الوتر قبل أن أنام، وصيام ثلاثة أيام من كل شهر، والغسل يوم الجمعة "
