مسند أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه
Hadith 30:3438
Yazid narrated to us, Ibn Abi Dhi'b informed us, from Abu al-Walid, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "The needy person is not the one who goes around among you, whom you feed a morsel or two. Rather, the needy person is the one who abstains from asking, who does not beg from people persistently."
حدثنا يزيد، أخبرنا ابن أبي ذئب، عن أبي الوليد، عن أبي هريرة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " ليس المسكين بالطواف عليكم أن تطعموه لقمة لقمة، إنما المسكين المتعفف الذي لا يسأل الناس إلحافا "
