Musnad Ahmad 30:3459

Yazid narrated to us, Hisham informed us, from Muhammad, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "When the time draws near, the dream of the Muslim will hardly be false. The most truthful of them in dreams are the most truthful of them in speech. The dream of the Muslim is one part of forty-six parts of prophethood." He said: And he said: "Dreams are three: The righteous dream is glad tidings from Allah, the Mighty and Majestic; the dream is a cause of sadness from Satan; and the dream is from what a person speaks to himself about. So if one of you sees what he dislikes, let him not tell it to anyone, and let him stand up and pray." He said: And I love shackles in a dream, and I dislike the yoke. The shackle is steadfastness in the religion.
