Abu Qatan and Abu ‘Amir narrated to us, they said: Hisham—meaning al-Dastawa’i—narrated to us, from Yahya, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: "By Allah, I will surely bring you closer to the prayer of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace." He said: Abu Hurayrah used to perform *qunut* in the final rak'ah of the Dhuhr prayer, the ‘Isha’ prayer, and the Subh prayer—Abu ‘Amir said in his narration: the final ‘Isha’ and the Subh prayer—after he would say: "Allah hears those who praise Him," and he would supplicate for the believers and curse the disbelievers. And Abu ‘Amir said: "And he would curse the disbelievers."
