Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us, Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Amr, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Death will be brought on the Day of Resurrection as a ram. It will be said: 'O people of Paradise, do you recognize this?' They will look out, fearful and apprehensive, and say: 'Yes.' Then it will be called out to the people of the Fire: 'Do you recognize this?' They will say: 'Yes.' Then it will be slaughtered. Then it will be said: 'Eternity in Paradise, and eternity in the Fire.'"
