Musnad Ahmad 30:3539

Rawh and Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, they said: ‘Awf narrated to us, from al-Hasan, who said: It reached me that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "To Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, belong one hundred mercies. He divided one mercy among the people of the earth, and it sufficed them until their appointed times, and He stored ninety-nine mercies for His allies. And Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, shall take back that mercy which He divided among the people of the earth to the ninety-nine, and He shall complete them as one hundred mercies for His allies on the Day of Resurrection." Muhammad said in his narration: And Muhammad ibn Sirin and Khilas both narrated this hadith to me, both from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), the like of it.
