Musnad Ahmad 30:3543

Rawh narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj and Abdullah ibn al-Harith narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, Musa ibn Uqbah informed me, from Nafi’, that Abu Hurayrah said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When Allah loves a servant, He calls out to Jibril: 'Indeed, Allah has loved so-and-so, so love him.' Then Jibril loves him, and then Jibril calls out to the inhabitants of the heaven: 'Indeed, Allah has loved so-and-so, so love him.' Then the inhabitants of the heaven love him. Then acceptance is placed for him among the inhabitants of the earth."
