Musnad Ahmad 30:3591

'Uthman narrated to us, Ibn Abi Dhi'b informed us, from Sa'id al-Maqburi, who said: Abu Hurayrah said: The people say: "Abu Hurayrah narrates too much." So I met a man and said to him: "With which Surah did the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, recite last night in the 'Atamah (night prayer)?" He said: "I do not know." I said: "Did you not attend it?" He said: "Yes." I said: "But I do know; he recited such-and-such Surah."
