'Abd al-Samad and Abu 'Amir narrated to us, they said: Hisham narrated to us, and al-Khaffaf said: Hisham informed us, from Yahya, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would say, "Allah hears those who praise Him" in the final rak'ah of the night prayer (al-'isha' al-akhirah), he would perform qunut and say: "O Allah, save al-Walid ibn al-Walid. O Allah, save Salamah ibn Hisham. O Allah, save 'Ayyash ibn Abi Rabi'ah. O Allah, save the oppressed among the believers. O Allah, intensify Your punishment upon Mudar. O Allah, make them years like the years of Yusuf." 'Abd al-Wahhab said: "Like the years of Yusuf." And he said in all of them: "Save, save." And Abu 'Amir said in all of them: "O Allah, save, save."
