'Abd al-Samad and 'Affan narrated to us, they said: Hammad narrated to us, Suhail narrated to us—'Affan said in his narration: Suhail informed me—my father narrated to me, from Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say when he reached the morning: "O Allah, by You we reach the morning, and by You we reach the evening, and by You we live, and by You we die, and to You is the destination."
