Musnad Ahmad 30:3690

Muhammad ibn Ubayd narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Amr narrated to us, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: Marwan used to appoint him as his deputy for the prayer when he would go for Hajj or Umrah. So he would lead the people in prayer, and he would say the takbir after bowing and after prostrating. When he finished, he would say: "I am the most similar of you in prayer to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace."
