Musnad Ahmad 30:3700

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Harb narrated to us, Yahya narrated to us, Bab ibn 'Umayr al-Hanafi narrated to me, a man from the people of Medina narrated to me that his father narrated to him that he heard Abu Hurayrah saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The funeral procession shall not be followed by a voice nor a fire, and one shall not walk in front of it."
