Hadith 30:372

Yazid narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Ishaq informed us, from Sa'id ibn Yasar, the freed slave of Al-Hasan ibn Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "By Him in whose hand is my soul, for one of you to take his rope, then go to the mountain, gather firewood, then come carrying it upon his back, and sell it so that he may eat, is better for him than to ask people. And for one to take dust and place it in his mouth is better for him than to place in his mouth that which Allah has forbidden for him."
