Musnad Ahmad 30:3749

Abu Sa’id narrated to us, Harb narrated to us, Yahya narrated to us, Bab ibn ‘Umayr al-Hanafi narrated to us, a man from the people of Medina narrated to me that his father narrated to him, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The funeral procession shall not be followed with a voice nor with fire, and one shall not walk in front of it."
