Abdullah ibn al-Harith narrated to us, al-Dahhak narrated to me, from Bukayr ibn Abdullah ibn al-Ashajj, from Sulayman ibn Yasar, from Abu Hurayrah, that he said: "I have not prayed behind anyone whose prayer was more similar to the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) than so-and-so," a person he named. Al-Dahhak said: Bukayr ibn Abdullah narrated to me, from Sulayman ibn Yasar, that he said: "I prayed behind that man and I saw him prolong the first two rak'ahs of Dhuhr, and shorten the last two. He would shorten the Asr, and recite in Maghrib from the short chapters of the Mufassal. He would recite in Isha with 'By the sun and its brightness' (Ash-Shams) and what resembles it. Then he would recite in Subh from the long chapters of the Mufassal."
