Rawh narrated to us, Salih narrated to us, Ibn Shihab narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Abu Hurayrah: That the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) sent Abdullah ibn Hudhafah to go around in Mina [proclaiming]: "Do not fast these days, for they are days of eating, drinking, and the remembrance of Allah, the Almighty and Majestic."
