Hassan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Dawud ibn Abi Hind, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. And Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Habib ibn al-Shahid, from al-Hasan, from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, who said: "Three things, whoever possesses them is a hypocrite, even if he fasts, prays, and claims that he is a Muslim: the one who, when he speaks, lies; and when he promises, he breaks it; and when he is entrusted, he betrays."
