Hadith 30:3806
Hashim narrated to us, Shareek narrated to us, from ‘Abd al-Malik ibn ‘Umayr, from Ziyad al-Harithi, who said: I heard a man ask Abu Hurayrah: "Are you the one who forbids people from praying in their sandals?" He said: "Yes, by the Lord of this sanctuary; yes, by the Lord of this sanctuary. I indeed saw Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, praying toward this station in his sandals, then he turned away while they were upon him."
حدثنا هاشم، حدثنا شريك، عن عبد الملك بن عمير، عن زياد الحارثي، قال: سمعت رجلا سأل أبا هريرة: أنت الذي تنهى الناس أن يصلوا في نعالهم؟ قال: ها ورب هذه الحرمة، ها ورب هذه الحرمة، لقد " رأيت محمدا صلى الله عليه وسلم يصلي إلى هذا المقام في نعليه، ثم انصرف وهما عليه "
